Occasionally:
The AI tool may not detect MCP properly - if so, click Reconnect in the MCP panel or refresh the page.
The AI may not run queries automatically - you may need to prompt it again or rephrase your request.
Some platforms may behave inconsistently depending on browser updates or plugin states.
You can now connect powerful AI platforms like Perplexity, Grok, Gemini, Google AI Studio, and DeepSeek to your Google Ads account - even though they don’t officially support it - using the MCP SuperAssistant Chrome extension.
1. Generate Your GPT Token via GAQL.app
Before connecting any AI to your Google Ads data, you’ll need a GPT token - a secure identifier that enables read-only access to your Google Ads account.
What is GAQL.app?
GAQL.app is a free and intuitive web tool that allows you to interact with Google Ads data using Google Ads Query Language (GAQL) - great for reporting, automation, and exploration.
How to Get Your GPT Token
Visit https://gaql.app
Log in with your Google account
Choose the Google Ads account you want to use
Click COPY GPT TOKEN at the top-right corner
You’ll use this token to authorize access to your data via MCP.
2. Install the MCP SuperAssistant Chrome Extension
Since these AI tools don’t natively support MCP, install the plugin:
👉 https://mcpsuperassistant.ai > click "Add to Chrome"
Once installed in Chrome, it will activate on supported AI platforms and let you connect to Google Ads via MCP.
3. Enable MCP in Your AI Tool
Open any supported AI platform in your Chrome browser. Examples:
Gemini → https://gemini.google.com
Perplexity → https://www.perplexity.ai
Grok (X.ai) → https://chat.x.ai
DeepSeek → https://chat.deepseek.com
Google AI Studio → https://makersuite.google.com
You will see a new (MCP) button in the chat interface - only if the plugin is installed.
Activating MCP in Chat
Click the (MCP) button that appears
Turn all toggles ON
Click ATTACH
This connects the MCP plugin to the AI chat session.
4. Configure MCP with Your GPT Token
On the right side of the screen, the MCP SuperAssistant panel will appear.
Click the ⚙️ gear icon in the top-right of the panel
In the SERVER URI field, enter the following:
https://mcp.gaql.app/sse/gpt-token/{YOUR-GPT-TOKEN}Replace {YOUR-GPT-TOKEN} with the token you copied from GAQL.app
Click Save and Connect
Once connected, your AI tool is ready to query your Google Ads account.
✅ Ask Google Ads Questions
You can now type questions like:
“List my Google Ads accounts”
“What are the top-performing campaigns this week in account {XYZ}?”
The plugin will send your query to the MCP backend, retrieve real Google Ads data, and display it inline.
