Connecting the TrueClicks MCP to Claude (web and desktop)

Add the TrueClicks MCP to Claude with OAuth. Setup for Pro, Max, and Free, plus how Owners add it for Team and Enterprise so each member connects as themselves.

Written by Ales Sturala

The TrueClicks MCP lets you query your TrueClicks data and your linked Google, Microsoft, and Meta Ads accounts from your AI or automation tool. It has Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Ads MCPs built in, so one connection covers all of them plus your TrueClicks data. For what it is and what data it reaches, see Using the TrueClicks MCP.

The MCP URL is:

https://data.trueclicks.com/mcp/

Everything is read-only: reporting and analysis only, no changes to your accounts or ad platforms.

Claude connects with OAuth. You add the connector once and log in with your TrueClicks account, so Claude reaches exactly the accounts your TrueClicks access allows. There's no token to paste.

Pro, Max, and Free plans

You add the connector yourself.

  1. Go to Settings > Connectors (in the desktop app, Customize > Connectors).

  2. Click the "+" or Add custom connector.

  3. Enter a name (call it "TrueClicks MCP") and the URL:

   https://data.trueclicks.com/mcp/

Click Add, then Connect. Claude sends you to TrueClicks to log in and approve access.

On the Free plan, you can have one custom connector.

Team and Enterprise plans

On Team and Enterprise, an Owner adds the connector once for the organization, then each member connects with their own login.

  1. An Owner or Primary Owner goes to Organization settings > Connectors > '+ Add' > Custom > Web, adds a custom connector with the URL https://data.trueclicks.com/mcp/, and saves it for the organization.

  2. Each member then goes to Settings > Connectors, finds TrueClicks MCP, and clicks Connect.

  3. Each member is sent to TrueClicks to log in with their own account.

Because OAuth authenticates every person separately, each member only sees the accounts their own TrueClicks access allows. Nothing is shared between members, even though the Owner added the connector once.

To use the TrueClicks MCP in a chat, click the "+" in the message box, open connectors, and toggle TrueClicks on.

Good to know

  • If tools don't appear after connecting, reopen the connectors menu to reconnect.

  • Most tools ask for approval the first time they run. You can set trusted tools to always-allowed.
