If your TrueClicks connector in Claude suddenly stopped responding or throws errors, don't worry - it's an easy fix that takes less than a minute.
This applies to you if your connector URL contains /sse/. If your URL already contains /mcp/, this article is not relevant to you.
Why Did It Stop Working?
Claude recently changed how it connects to external tools like our Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Ads MCPs. The old connection method (called SSE) is no longer supported by Claude.
We already have the new version ready. You just need to update the URL in your connector settings.
Updated URLs
Use the same token you had before - just make sure the URL contains /mcp/ instead of /sse/:
Google Ads
Microsoft Ads
Meta Ads
How to Fix It
In Claude, click Manage connectors
Disconnect your old MCP connector(s) hosted by TrueClicks
Set it up again following the guide for your platform:
