Most paid search campaigns need to hit specific targets. At a high level, these are the most common targets that you can monitor with TrueClicks:

  • Pacing (volume) targets, like cost (budget), conversions, conversion value (revenue), and clicks. These are raw metrics you can count and pace: how are we doing so far this month (or any other time frame) vs. how we should have been doing if we were on track with our target?

  • Efficiency (ratio) targets, like ROAS, CPA, and CPC. These metrics can't be counted or paced like the previous category, but they're essential to know if you're acquiring your revenue, conversions, or clicks at a "price" that makes sense for the business.

If you've already got budgets set up in Google Ads or Microsoft Advertising, we'll auto-import them into TrueClicks.

For all other targets, you'll need to create them in TrueClicks by going to the "Targets/Budgets" section and clicking on one of the top right buttons.
